New Criteria for the Business Manager Visa Now in Effect

As of October 16, 2025, the eligibility criteria for the “Business Manager” visa have been tightened.
Under this revision, many new requirements have been introduced regarding capital, employment, Japanese language ability, and business experience.
For example, the minimum capital requirement has been raised from 5 million yen to 30 million yen.
